Windows Phone platform has always been late to the party for most of the popular apps in the mobile segment, be it the social apps, gaming apps or the offers for apps over the Store.
Original Angry Birds which was made free for the iOS platform a few weeks ago has finally been made free for the Windows Phone store also. But wait, this is not a full time free offer !
Windows Phone 7 is almost an year old now, launched back in October 2010 in UK and November in the United States , emerging as the 3rd largest mobile phone ecosystem after Android and iOS. Though the sells are not overwhelming at this moment but things are really looking bright for the new kid after the Microsoft-Nokia agreement and the upcoming new range of Mango based Windows Phones from various manufacturers like Nokia, HTC, LG, Fujitsu-Toshiba, Samsung, Acer etc.
Though Indian users had a fair share of Windows Phone devices courtesy the release of some Windows Phones like HTC Mozart, HD7, Dell’s Venue Pro, WP7 users in India are yet to get official Windows Phone Marketplace to download and buy apps to their device.
One of the alternative to access the Marketplace is to use the US Based Live ID to register as the Primary Account for the Marketplace so that they can access the Marketplace as a US User or a little bit of tweaking in the Windows Registry would do the trick for you.
